Welcome to SoulFit

A Place to Return to Yourself

SoulFit is a wellness retreat center nestled among 33 wooded acres in the hills of Hohenwald, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. It was created from a simple belief: we all need space to step away from the demands of everyday life and remember how to care for ourselves—body, mind, and soul.

At SoulFit, wellness is not about doing more. It is about creating the space to slow down, listen, breathe, move, nourish, rest, and reconnect.

This is the heart of Me’fulness—giving yourself permission to take the time you need to return to yourself.

Where Nature Becomes Part of the Experience

Surrounded by woods, walking trails, a flowing creek, and quiet places to simply be, SoulFit offers something increasingly rare: room. Room to breathe. Room to rest. Room to hear yourself again.

Nature is not simply the backdrop here. It is part of the experience—inviting you to move a little slower, become more present, and reconnect with the rhythms that are so easy to lose in everyday life.

Created for Whole-Person Wellness

Throughout the property, spaces have been intentionally created to support different expressions of wellness. The SoulFit Wellness Center offers therapeutic modalities and spaces for deep restoration. The Yoga Studio creates room for movement, meditation, breathwork, stillness, and practice. The Beacon provides beautiful lodging and gathering spaces where retreat guests can share meals, conversation, laughter, and rest. The Loft House offers additional lodging and a peaceful home base for retreat facilitators.

Walking trails, outdoor gathering spaces, the fire ring, gardens, decks, and quiet corners throughout the property extend the experience beyond the buildings and into the land itself.

Together, these spaces create an environment where nourishment, movement, restoration, reflection, and connection can naturally become part of the same experience.

Retreats With Intention

SoulFit is home to Amy’s signature Me’Fulness Retreat Experiences, created to give guests permission to step away from the noise and intentionally make space for themselves.

It is also a home for other teachers, healers, wellness practitioners, and retreat facilitators who are looking for a meaningful setting in which to gather their communities and share their work.

Rather than simply providing a venue, SoulFit offers an environment designed around the retreat experience—from lodging and gathering spaces to movement, wellness, nourishment, and nature.

Because sometimes transformation doesn’t begin by adding something new.Sometimes it begins by creating enough space to remember what was already there.

Come rest. Reconnect. Nourish. And return to what matters.

Meet Amy, Wellness Curator

Amy's journey to wellness has been a lifelong adventure, beginning with her passion for fitness. From excelling in school sports to enduring rigorous military training, Amy's competitive spirit has always driven her pursuit of physical excellence. However, it wasn’t until her early 30s that she began to explore the transformative power of nutrition. Inspired by books like You Are What You Eat by Dr. Gillian McKeith and The Maker’s Diet by Jordan S. Rubin, Amy embarked on a quest to understand and embrace the principles of good nutrition.

This newfound focus led Amy and her husband to middle Tennessee, where they committed to raising and growing clean, healthy food. Initially, Amy envisioned helping individuals with meal planning, grocery shopping for high-quality foods, and establishing fitness routines. But in January 2022, a pivotal experience at a Dr. Joe Dispenza conference changed her perspective.

Amy realized that true wellness isn’t achieved by focusing solely on the body. While proper nutrition and exercise are vital, they must be complemented by nurturing the mind and soul. This holistic approach inspired the creation of SoulFit—a wellness retreat center dedicated to fitness for the body, mind, and soul.

At SoulFit, Amy helps others embrace the often-uncomfortable journey of self-discovery and connection. She believes that in the stillness and discomfort of sitting with oneself, profound transformation occurs. It is in this space that individuals can reconnect with the Divine within and around them, finding the nourishment their mind and soul truly need.

Through SoulFit, Amy fulfills her lifelong passion for guiding people on a holistic path to wellness, encouraging them to find balance, embrace growth, and connect deeply with themselves and the world.
